May 7, 2018 - June 1, 2018

Come hack and relax in St. Lucia!

May 7 – June 1, 2018

Saint Lucia is an Eastern Caribbean island nation with a pair of dramatically tapered mountains, the Pitons, on its west coast. Its coast is home to volcanic beaches, reef-diving sites, luxury resorts and fishing villages. Trails in the interior rain-forest lead to waterfalls like the 15m-high Toraille, which pours over a cliff into a garden. The capital, Castries, is a popular cruise port.

Hi Everyone, it’s that time of year again!Hacker Hostel is looking for Senior engineers to apply as mentors and soon to be college/boot camp grads to apply as attendees for this years Hacker Hostel. We are doing it as a four weeks program this in three locations in the Caribbean. May is St. Lucia, June is Jamaica, and July is Trinidad and Tobago. Mentors are only being asked to give as much time as they can (the usual timespan is one to two weeks depending on arrangements at work)

You can go to to apply.

Really looking forward to seeing some of you guys in the summer!

Our Story
Hacker Hostel is comprised of startup entrepreneurs passionate about technological development, the Caribbean and education.

The organisation is built on the premise that those passions could be combined to help the Caribbean’s technological industry become the next great tech hub. The proposition is simple, yet attractive for all parties involved as everyone benefits:

1. Sponsors get technological solutions for advanced problems that reduce their data management costs using insight from both local and overseas talent.

2. Students and mentors increase their marketability after gaining experience working on high level technology projects while exploring an exotic Caribbean location for leisure.

Objective for 2018:
Continue to expand throughout the Caribbean while servicing local projects and developing talent.
